Following a survey of the property we produce a written report including:

A preliminary payback analysis, with an explanation of how the Feed in Tariiff works.

Why use us when some installers offer free 'surveys'?

A solar photovoltaic system is a significant investment and will be part of your property for many years, so should be considered carefully.

We are independent - we dont sell photovoltaic systems so our advice is impartial. If we think the property is unsuitable or that there are potential problems (such as planning or structural issues), we will tell you so. 

We have four years experience of visiting domestic properties to asssess energy performance or condition, are regulated by a professional certification scheme, CRB checked and carry identification cards.

Our report is inexpenxive and usually produced within 48 hours of a survey visit.

We can recommend and introduce you to reputable MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) registered installers, if you wish.

What happens when we assess a property?

A typical survey lasts around an hour in which we collect the measurements and data required to produce the report.

Roof type and material;
Orientation and Pitch;
Sources and impact of overshading;
Usable roof area;
Height and access restrictions for scaffolding;
Loft conditions and accessibility;
Spacing between rafters and depth of battens where accessible;
Potential location for inverter;
Position/type of consumer unit, earth bonding, and metering.
